Edition Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is still quite far away, but speculation is already starting to multiply about its parameters, appearance and improvements compared to Galaxy Tab S11 UltraIt is almost certain that Samsung will once again focus on optimizations and hardware changes, and will not make as many as we would like. And unfortunately, this will also affect the battery life. According to the latest leak, the battery capacity and charging speed will remain at the level of its predecessor.

Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will probably appear at the end of the summer and will again focus mainly on AI functions and high performance. LeakExperts believe that it will get a very advanced processor Dimensity 9500, which will allow it to handle the most demanding operations and will serve for both work and entertainment. In the Geekbench 6 tests, the chip received a score of:

  • 3 177 in single-core tests,
  • 9 701 in multi-core tests.

Compared to its predecessor, it should offer up to 40% better graphics performance and should also provide more advanced AI functions. The generation speed should be twice as fast as the Dimensity 9400+, and since Samsung will certainly bet on it again, Galaxy AI, it will be a truly exceptional device.

The battery will not improve.

But tablet owners aren't just concerned with performance and graphics. Most of us are primarily concerned with battery life. That was already the case with Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra very solid, as Samsung equipped it with a battery with a capacity of 11 600 mAh supporting 45W charging. There are high expectations for the upcoming generation, and many are secretly hoping that Samsung will add at least a few hundred milliamp-hours. But it seems not.

According to the portal's findings GalaxyClub capacity or charging speed will not change. However, the battery life would Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra should have been longer, again thanks to optimizationAnd also thanks to the use of the aforementioned Dimensity 9500 chip. But the question is how much Samsung can actually improve it.

Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra should come out on the side Galaxy Tab S12 +, and probably in September. Its price is not yet known, but given the wave of price increases for phones (including those from Samsung), it can be expected to be higher than last year's. Personally, I think that perhaps it is better to have a faster charging speed than the battery size. That's why I don't understand why even with such a huge battery it is only 45W and not 60W. Perhaps Samsung has some logical reason for this, otherwise I can only shake my head.
