South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its next flagship series for 2020 2027 a move that will please every demanding user. The latest leaks suggest that the upcoming model Galaxy S27 The Pro could offer a giant 5,000mAh battery. This would put it on par with the top model. Ultra, which represents a huge technological leap forward for a phone with more compact dimensions.

If the speculation is confirmed, this will mean a great success for Samsung in the area of the internal hardware layout and energy density of the cells.

Faster charging as a matter of course
A larger battery also requires adequate power when replenishing energy. The older and slow 25W charging would mean a long wait for such a large capacity, so Samsung will reportedly use 45W wired charging for the Pro version. For comparison:

- Galaxy S27 Ultra: Higher capacity (not yet specified, up to 6000 mAh) + 60W charging

The battery isn't the only area where the Pro model wants to shine. According to insiders, Samsung is planning to put a 3,5x telephoto lens on this smartphone. This could offer even better and more natural portrait photos than the model thanks to its specific focal length. Ultra, which will likely retain its traditional 5x optical zoom.
