But that's no longer the case, because Samsung has added a new feature to its One UI 8.5 introduced the long-requested feature of recording only a selected part of the screen.
A new feature fundamentally changes the way we share what's happening on our screen. Instead of recording everything that happens on your phone, it gives you One UI 8.5 before starting the recording. You can choose whether you want to record the entire screen or just a part of it.
If you choose the second option, a movable and adjustable frame will appear, which you can use your fingers to stretch to exactly the part of the screen you want to record, e.g. a video playing on a website or a specific chat. Everything outside the marked box will remain hidden. So you don't have to worry about recording any of your sensitive data. This is especially important for me, as I often use screen recording for work.
