Samsung officially releases details of June security update 2026. A new patch package that will start rolling out to the first supported devices in the coming days Galaxy device, focuses on improving system stability and protecting user privacy. It brings a total of 45 fixes that address vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and the superstructure One UI.
The update is traditionally composed of two main parts: fixes supplied by Google (CVE) and specific patches directly from Samsung (SVE).
- Google (CVE): A total of 33 patches. Of these, 5 vulnerabilities were marked as critical, the remaining 28 patches fall into the high risk category.
- Samsung (CEE): The Korean giant has added 11 of its own patches that address bugs specific to its devices. These patches apply to Android versions 14, 15, and 16.
- Samsung Semiconductor: The package also includes one specific fix for Exynos chipsets (CVE-2026-23787), which concerns processor stability.
Availability for devices
While the owners of the series Galaxy S26who participate beta testing One UI 9, received this update a little early, the rollout for the general public is still being prepared. Standard devices will receive 44 patches, while models powered by Exynos processors will receive the aforementioned 45th patch in addition. The flagships of the series are expected to be the first to receive it. Galaxy S26, S25 and the latest jigsaw puzzles Galaxy Z Fold7 to Z Flip7.

This month's update has no impact on devices that receive monthly updates, meaning all devices that were included in the May list are retained in the June list. 2026The only difference is in the quarterly updates, from which the model was dropped. Galaxy M53The company retired it because it had already reached its four-year update cycle. So the May update with firmware version M536BXXSFGZE2 was its last.
