Top performance and durability
In terms of technical specifications, it is absolutely top-notch. Even though it is made of 60% recycled glass and is only 0,25 mm thick (the previous generation was 0,4 mm), it still has the same ability to withstand drops and pressure on the edges. Of course, it is highly resistant to scratches from keys, knives or other metal objects. There is also a special surface treatment against fingerprints and grease and 100% response to touch with high sensitivity is ensured. The fingerprint reader in the display is also not a problem.
The main attraction, however, is the privacy filter, which makes the display virtually invisible to others when viewed from the side. PanzerGlass also available in the series Galaxy S26 continues its eco-friendly journey. The packaging is made from recycled materials and contains everything needed for a flawless installation of the glass on the phone's display:

Thanks to the frame, installation takes just a few minutes, and by that I mean literally two. Just clean the phone (which is perhaps the longest process), put on the frame, and after removing the protective film, position the glass exactly with the cutout for the front camera towards the top. Then simply push any air bubbles towards the edges.

If you have any dust particles under the glass after it has been glued, just peel the glass slightly and remove them with the sticker - both from the display and from the inside of the glass. By peeling it slightly, you will also remove bubbles, if you then press the glass ideally. But even if some remain between the display and the glass, and it is not due to dust, they will disappear by the next day.

Privacy without compromise
The main benefit is the aforementioned privacy filter. When looking directly at Galaxy S26 the glass is clear, but as the angle of inclination increases, the screen gradually darkens. The effect is very noticeable - while in the uncovered cutout for the front camera, the display is still clearly visible (you can see this in the photos where I set the phone to maxminimum display brightness), the rest of the area covered by the glass turns into a black area for the surroundings. The larger the angle, the lower the visibility, just like on Galaxy S26 Ultra with Privacy Display enabled.

This technology comes with two minor features that you need to be aware of. Due to the filter structure, a fine grid is visible upon close inspection, and the overall brightness of the display is slightly lower than with clear glass. However, it's a fair price to pay for the certainty that no one but you will see your messages or banking details on public transport.
