Samsung quietly prepared a major update to its app Galaxy Enhance-X, which is in no way related to One UI 8.5. It started rolling out to users a few days ago and should now be available to most device owners GalaxyIf you didn't like the design of the older version of the app or found its layout confusing, you'll be pleasantly surprised now - Samsung has not only changed the look, but has also better organized the functions and added several new ones.
Application Galaxy Enhance-X is intended for photo editing and is available for download exclusively at Galaxy Store. It's powered by artificial intelligence, so you can do magic with photos better and easier than, for example, Google Photos. But many people have complained in the past about the unfortunate user interface and lack of clarity. Samsung has heard these complaints and in the latest update version 16.3.00.31 changes the layout.
Instead of one screen with all the available features, they are now available 3 separate cards, which you can find at the bottom of the screen:
- Plugins – contains various accessories for further modifications
- Home – main area for editing photos and videos
- History – archive of already edited files
3 new styles
Existing editing options and the most recently added ones are now clearly listed under Plugins. In order not to just change the appearance, Samsung decided to make three new features available:
- CinematicGlow – adding a subtle “dream” effect
- FilmStyle – includes 9 film-inspired filters
- SkyGuide – recognizes stars, constellations and celestial objects in images of the night sky
Just click to download the plugins from Galaxy Store and then it will appear among your existing editing tools. You can then work with it in exactly the same way as with the other options.

But Samsung didn't stop there. Other news is hidden under the heading Photo tools in the Photos section. In addition to effects, other valuable editing tools have been added that will help reduce or completely eliminate blur, remove glare, increase sharpness or change the HDR format. The editing tools also focus directly on faces subjects to whom they can add smoothness, highlight lines or, conversely, adjust the eyes.
The last change took place in the document management section. Doc tools now offer automatic cleanup of scanned images or cropping of documents. Again, additional editing tools are available such as cropping, filters, adding text or drawing into images. And of course, the conversion to JPEG a PDF.
Z Galaxy Enhance-X becomes a full-fledged editing tool that is clear, intuitive, and easy and fast to work with. The only drawback is that you won't find it on your mobile Galaxy automatically and you have to specifically search for and download it. Likewise, new plugins are not available until it is specifically nestyou will. But once you Galaxy Once you start using Enhance-X, you will probably get used to it very quickly and will no longer look for other options for editing photos and videos.
