Samsung finally released its fourth smartphone on Monday beta version for superstructures One UI 8.5In addition to fixing a number of bugs, it brings pro A perhaps insignificant but certainly pleasing improvement to some is the redesign of the charging animation.

Samsung in its upcoming superstructure One UI 8.5 also tries to emphasize aesthetics and user experience, so not just some new features. Prothere's also a new charging animation. With the superstructure One UI 7 Samsung introduced a new battery icon that includes a dynamic charging animation. Now the animation within the fourth betaversion One UI 8.5 has received a nice redesign. It consists of the following two changes:

  • Smaller pill size: The pill charging animation is in One UI 8.5 slightly smaller than in One UI 8.0. Samsung has reduced the width of the pill, which has improved its shape. The changed size now corresponds to other components within One UI 8.5.
  • Old-new paint: Samsung has changed the animation transition palette again. In One UI 8.0 was blue-green, in One UI 8.5 will turn into something that users Galaxy already know from the past. Do you remember on the charging animation in One UI 7.0 that was labeled "Charging"? This varianta had the same gradient color as we see in One UI 8.5.

With these two changes, the charging animation looks like this: One UI 8.5 really well and I personally like it a lot, so the company clearly hit the spot for me. Samsung redesigned it to be more informative but also less distracting.

Let's recall that the stable version One UI 8.5 is set to debut in the series Galaxy S26, which is expected to be unveiled on February 25. Samsung should start releasing it as an update to eligible devices in March or April. Galaxy, with the first to receive it being a series Galaxy S25.
