The Samsung security update for December 2025 contains a fix for 68 vulnerabilities in Android that were discovered by Google itself in its One UI superstructure, but by Samsung. The first to receive it at the beginning of the month was a rather surprising model, namely Galaxy A34 5G. But what devices are eligible for it right now?
The most serious bugs fixed include out-of-range reads and writes in the fingerprint system, bootloader, and video codec libraries, which could allow attackers to access or overwrite data. The patch also fixes a critical bug in the Dynamic Lockscreen app that could allow other apps to access its files, and an authentication bug in Samsung's radio interface layer that could allow unintended memory writes.
