A number of Samsung tablets boast very powerful hardware, for example Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which is among the most powerful. However, they are often criticized for being held back by software. This should be corrected to some extent by the superstructure based on Android 16 One UI 8, which will also bring one disappointment.
Known leaker appearing on the social network X under the name Toprak installed on his tablet Galaxy S9 Ultra internal version of the superstructure One UI 8 and found that it brings a number of improvements. The quick launch panel and notification bar have been given an improved look, where they now blur a small part of the screen where the content is actually located, instead of blurring the entire screen. The quick launch panel opens as before by swiping down from the right side, and the notification bar appears anywhere else on the screen.

Then there is one big change regarding DeX mode that many users will not be happy about – ve One UI 8 Classic DeX mode is no longer availableNow there's just the new DeX interface, which was introduced with the superstructure One UI 6 and which until now coexisted with the classic mode on tablets. The tablet's home screen now remains the same, but with a compact taskbar and apps opening in floating windows by default.

However, there is one positive new change – more areasThis is a feature similar to desktop operating systems that separates applications into different work environments. Think one for music, one for work, etc.
