Beta body version One UI 8 confirmed earlier speculation that Samsung would increase virtual memory through the RAM Plus feature to up to 12 GB. Users from the regions included in the testing can try this new feature now, and from July it should start spreading to all users of the included devices as part of the full version of the add-on.
Samsung's latest flagship models come with 12GB of RAM. But in China, for example, 16GB of RAM is available. If you need it, you can increase it even further using virtual RAM, which Samsung calls RAM Plus. Within the current interface One UI 7 users can choose between 2GB, 4GB, 6GB or 8GBYou can also turn this option off completely, which is useful if you need to use more memory on your phone.
