Samsung has officially released the first beta of its superstructure built on the not-yet-released Android system. Of course, it is One UI 8, which will run on top of Android 16. This is expected to happen before the end of May, before Samsung has updated all supported devices to One UI 7.
Beta program One UI 8 is already active for series devices Galaxy S25. The company announced this in its newsroom. It also revealed several interesting aspects that are expected to take the user experience of using the device to a new level after the official (stable) release.
First of all, it will be One UI 8 offer AI experiences based on three factors: smarter multimodal display, updated user interface and offering personalized suggestions. It also brings improved Now Bar and Now Brief, which will provide more personal information. In addition, it adds One UI 8 new audio streaming technology called Auracast, which will be based on Bluetooth LE Audio for seamless connection through scanning and sharing QR codes.
