Set on your phone's lock screen with One UI 7 customizing the camera widget to launch the mode of your choice is not complicated. Just follow these steps:

  • Long press the lock screen.
  • Click the button Add tools (This is what Samsung calls widgets).
  • Select a widget Camera.
  • Click on "Own camera".
  • Click on "Done".
  • Now tap on the newly displayed Start widget.
  • Select an item Boot mode.
  • Choose in which mode the custom camera widget should run (Both rear and front modes are available camera).
  • Go back a step and click the button ImposeThe Start widget will change to the icon of the mode you set.

Now, when you tap on your custom camera widget on the lock screen, it will launch the mode you set. This way, you can set up multiple custom camera widgets on the lock screen, not just one. The standard camera widget, located at the bottom right, will still launch Photo mode.
