In recent days, Samsung fans have been increasingly turning to the One UI 8, the upcoming update based on Android 16. Although there are various reports about the dates and list of supported devices, it is important to note one thing: as of May 20, 2025, Samsung has no official roadmap. One UI 8 did not release.
There have already been articles on some websites claiming that Samsung has released an update schedule, including specific devices and dates. However, this information is unsubstantiated and comes from untrustworthy sources - it is misinformation that may confuse users.
In fact, Samsung has not yet provided any specific information on when and for which models the upgrade will be available. One UI 8.0 was released, when this information did not even escape him. Some posts on the X social network, which we also reported on, indicate that internal testing is underway, but this is not something officially confirmed.
We recommend following only official Samsung communication channels, such as the Newsroom or the Samsung Members app (and its forums), or established tech news websites that verify their information (like ours, of course).
