This is the Game Motion Smoothing option, which allows you to set either 60Hz or 120Hz modes. This new setting works with those titles that don't have their own display refresh rate settings. Of course, if the game doesn't support 120Hz, selecting this option will have no effect.

How to set Motion Smoothness when playing a game in One UI 7 

  • Go to Settings. 
  • Choose Function extension. 
  • Select an offer below Game Booster settings. 
  • Click on Smoothness of movement while playing and select the desired value. 

You can also access the Game Booster settings from the Gaming Hub app by tapping the three-dot icon in the top right. This option replaces the old 48Hz low refresh rate limiter found in older versions One UIBut the new settings offer even more FPS control for a given game. If you select the Customize menu for individual games, you can manually set the refresh rate to 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 Hz.
