Samsung is preparing to host its biggest and most important event of the year Galaxy Unpacked, which will take place on January 22, 2025 in San Jose, California. The main thing here will be the line Galaxy S25, but we also hope to learn more about the superstructure One UI 7. It is then very unlikely that anything will fall here One UI 7.1.
There is already a lot of information about what news the event will bring, and what we won't actually see. The latest information says that the series Galaxy The S25 will actually go to One UI 7, not One UI 7.1. Samsung will change the established standards that we have been used to for years.
There was a theory at play that the models of the series Galaxy S25 will go to One UI 7.1 when Samsung will release One UI 7 for the series Galaxy S24. The newer one would thus have the upper hand in a certain respect. But these considerations no longer make much sense because of how close we are to the performance itself. It is more likely that the series models Galaxy S25 will benefit from already having at least One UI 7, when this superstructure will spread more slowly across Samsung's portfolio due to numerous optimization problems and many delays.

So it is definitely not a certainty that the owners of the series Galaxy S24 will wait One UI 7 on January 22nd. It's more likely that they'll wait another week or so, minialmost to the start of sales Galaxy S25. It is also certain that on the functions One UI 7, Samsung will build a lot of marketing, so the successor in the form of One UI 7.1 could overshadow these innovations somewhat.

So when will Samsung release One UI 7.1? The solution doesn't have to be that complicated.
