Waze has long been one of the most popular navigation applications, but the best navigation is different for everyone. In the case of this title, it is also due to its sophisticated warnings that alert drivers to current events on the road. To make your ride even safer, the app now receives new alerts.
Waze receives alerts for new types of cameras such as speeding, running a red light, using the wrong lane (such as a bus or high-occupancy vehicle), not wearing a seat belt or using a phone while driving. These warnings serves as a useful reminder of the traffic rules in a given area. New camera types are being rolled out globally to the app for both Android and iOS.

A new traffic event feature will warn when concerts, parades, sports and other events are encroaching on areas with places you've saved or recently driven through. Waze will send an alert as soon as an event starts with details such as the cause, road closures and real-time traffic conditions, which you can share with others. This feature is now available globally for both mobile versions.
