If you are even slightly interested in the world of movies and series, you are certainly familiar with the Czech website Kinobox. But you may not know that it also exists as a mobile application. We will now take a closer look at it and tell you why it should not be missing on your Android phone.

The Kinobox application is your pocket guide to the world of films and series, offering maxA very clear user interface and rich content. You can also personalize it right after launching the application by choosing the streaming services you have access to or are interested in their content.
The interface is very intuitive with it being divided into several tabs – Home, Movies, Series, My and Menu. Of these, the most important is the first one mentioned, which integrates everything you need to know.

When it comes to content, under the tabs Home, Movies and Series you will find articles and news from the world of film, trailers or sections such as New Movies Online and New Series Online, which are shown to you according to your initial selection. There's also news in theaters, new content you can watch online, the latest reviews and other news.
If you don't know what to watch right now, you can click on not only news, but also trends or rankings in the Movies and Series tabs in the top bar. Each title offers details, you can rate it, write a review for it, add it to your watchlist or favorites. Content marked in this way will be displayed under the My tab and based on it you will receive tailored recommendations over time. It should be noted that the aforementioned activities require the creation of a (free) account.
Search is also worth mentioning. You can enter the name of the film/series, the name of the director or actor into it from any tab, and clear results will "come out". In addition, the search offers detailed filters, thanks to which you can, for example, narrow your search to content available with Czech dubbing or Czech subtitles. Notifications (for when your expected movie is online or in the cinema) and dark mode also deserve a mention.
It also uses artificial intelligence and can play movies
Since we have already "brushed" on the rating, let's return to it briefly, because in the application you can also notice the ratings that accompany the inscription AI. These ratings are for unreleased/not-in-theater movies, and their purpose is to use artificial intelligence to tell you if the movie is worth your time, or if you should look elsewhere. He has the highest AI rating at the moment Dune: Part Two, namely 83% (by the way, it will arrive in our cinemas on February 29).
The app also works as a free movie streaming platform. Currently, the offer includes, for example, The Electrifying Life of Louis Wain, Willy's Magical World, The Demon of Damnation, Havel, the documentary Mara Goes to Heaven or Between the Fjords and many others. The application is therefore useful even if you no longer pay for any VOD services. Here you also have on-demand content, but it is offered for free.
